Roles/Duties & Responsibilities
Develop and execute territory business plans to achieve sales, revenue and volume targets..
Lead, coach and motivate sales teams to deliver consistent territory performance.
Drive sales growth through distributors, wholesalers, retailers, key accounts and other trade channels.
Identify and develop new business opportunities to expand market coverage and increase market share.
Build and maintain strong relationships with distributors, dealers, retailers and strategic customers.
Monitor territory performance, market trends and competitor activities and recommend appropriate actions.
Prepare accurate sales forecasts, budgets, reports and performance analyses for management decision-making.
Ensure product availability, effective distribution, market visibility and collections across the assigned territory.
Skills & Qualifications
Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Sales, Marketing, Business Administration, Commerce or a related field from a recognized university.
Minimum 5 years' experience in sales, preferably with experience in a supervisory or managerial role.
Proven experience in FMCG sales and distribution, with a strong understanding of the Kenyan market.
Demonstrated track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets and driving business growth.
Strong leadership and team-management skills, with the ability to coach and develop sales teams.
Excellent negotiation, communication and relationship-management skills.
Strong understanding of territory management, distributor networks, route-to-market strategies and trade execution.
Good conflict-resolution, problem-solving and decision-making skills.
Team collaboration and coordination skills
Ability to work independently
Analytical and commercially astute, with strong planning, reporting, problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
Strong business development and client relationship management skills
