Tractor Operator

Location: Jos, Plateau Responsibilities Cultivates the land for planting i.e. Disc ploughing, Disc Harrowing and ridging. Carry out planting activities. Planting of crop and pasture at the appropriate time Hay making i.e. mowing, raking and baling Carry out silage harvesting. Responsible for the compaction of silage inside silage pits. Maize threshing Carry out the crop management practices (fertilizer, herbicide and insecticide application). Trailing silage and hay to a storage area. Reports tractors/equipment faults to the supervisor Requirements Minimum of a secondary school leaving certificate is required. Minimum of 5 years' experience in tractor driving Must possess a valid tractor driving licence and trade test licence. Must be able to operate machinery and equipment Good interpersonal relationship skills. Good communication effectively.
