Prepdia Kenya is a leading home tutoring company connecting parents and students with qualified tutors. We are seeking a Tutor Recruiter to join our team. This role is critical to ensure that every tutor we onboard meets our high-quality standards. The successful candidate will interview, assess, and recruit tutors, with a focus on primary and science subjects, ensuring that our clients have access to skilled and reliable educators.

Key Responsibilities:


Conduct interviews with prospective tutors to evaluate subject knowledge, teaching ability, and suitability.
Assess tutor resumes, qualifications, and references to ensure alignment with Prepdia's standards.
Collaborate with the operations team to manage tutor onboarding and maintain a qualified tutor pool.
Provide feedback to tutors on performance during interviews and guide them on expectations.
Maintain accurate records of tutor recruitment, assessments, and hiring decisions.
Assist with scheduling and logistics for interviews (virtual or physical).
Collaborate with management to refine recruitment strategies and improve tutor quality over time.


Requirements:


Bachelor's degree in Education, Science, or a related field; teaching experience strongly preferred.
Proven knowledge in primary and secondary science subjects is a plus.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact with tutors and colleagues.
Ability to evaluate teaching skills, problem-solving abilities, and subject knowledge.
Detail-oriented, organized, and professional in approach.
Prior experience in recruitment, interviewing, or education administration is advantageous.
Comfortable working independently and meeting recruitment targets.
