ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITY
Deliver courses in counselling psychology using approved TVET curricula.
Teach core areas such as counselling skills, ethics, DSM-based assessment, trauma counselling, and mental health.
Prepare teaching materials, lesson plans, and learner assessments.
Supervise counseling practicums, role plays, and industrial attachments.
Provide academic mentorship and basic psychosocial support to learners.
Participate in departmental meetings, curriculum review, and quality assurance processes.
Promote ethical practice and professionalism in counselling training.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
A Degree in Counselling Psychology or related field.
Pedagogical training and counselling practice experience preferred.
Registration with a recognized professional body is an added advantage.
