ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITY
Teach perioperative theatre technology courses using competency-based methodologies.
Train learners on theatre procedures, aseptic techniques, surgical instrumentation, and patient safety.
Prepare and administer assessments in theory and practical sessions, and administer Objective Structured Clinical Examinations (OSCEs).
Supervise skills labs, simulations, and clinical attachments.
Ensure adherence to occupational safety, infection control, and theatre ethics.
Maintain teaching and assessment records.
Support continuous improvement of training programmes.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
A degree in Biomedical engineering, Higher National Diploma in Perioperative Theatre Technology, Degree in Nursing or any other related health discipline.
Valid professional registration.
Relevant teaching and industry experience.
