Qualifications/Experience Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree in Urban and Regional Planning, Town Planning, Urban Development, Environmental Planning, Geography, Architecture, Land Administration, or a related field from a recognized institution.
Registration with the Town Planners Registration Council of Nigeria (TOPREC) is required.
Membership of the Nigerian Institute of Town Planners (NITP) is highly desirable.
A Master's Degree in Urban Planning, Regional Planning, Sustainable Development, Housing Development, Smart Cities Planning, or a related field will be an added advantage.
Professional certifications in Geographic Information Systems (GIS), Smart City Planning, Environmental Planning, Project Management, or related disciplines will be an advantage.
Knowledge of housing development, real estate projects, social housing initiatives, and smart city concepts will be an added advantage.
Minimum of 5 - 10 years of proven professional experience in urban and regional planning, land-use planning, housing development, and infrastructure planning.
Demonstrated experience in planning residential estates, smart cities, housing developments, urban renewal projects, or large-scale community development initiatives.
Strong understanding of Nigerian urban planning laws, development control regulations, environmental standards, and planning best practices.
Proficiency in GIS applications, AutoCAD, ArcGIS, QGIS, and other urban planning and mapping software.
