Key Responsibilities
Greet and welcome guests promptly in a warm and friendly manner.
Present menus, explain menu items and daily specials, and make recommendations upon request.
Take food and beverage orders accurately and relay them to the kitchen and bar staff.
Serve food and beverages in a timely and professional manner.
Check on guests to ensure satisfaction and promptly address any concerns or requests.
Clear tables, clean dining areas, and reset tables for the next guests.
Process guest bills, handle cash and card payments, and issue receipts.
Follow all restaurant hygiene, safety, and cleanliness standards.
Key Requirements
Previous experience as a waiter/waitress or in a similar customer service role is preferred; however, recent graduates with a degree or diploma in Tourism, Hospitality, are strongly encouraged to apply.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
Must be able to work and want to work in the bush.
Team player with a positive attitude and willingness to learn.
Flexibility to work shifts, including weekends and holidays.
