Description
Adhering to Stores Standard Operating Procedures, to achieve efficiency under the guidance of the Supervisor.
Processing of inventory by e.g., scheduling, receiving, issuing, storage, and Material Handling processing.
Ensuring effective and accurate issuing of material from stock, including sorting, organizing picking, packing, stacking, organizing, and storing inventory (small, large bulk) incorrect locations.
Verifying quality, condition, and correctness of measure for all material received directly from suppliers.
Report damaged or missing inventory to the Supervisor
Operate fuel pump by issuing fuel and capturing consumption information accurately
Perform stock takes on inventory
Complying with and applying correct policies and procedures for issuing emergency and after-hours orders.
Ensure the receipts, storage, and issuing of materials comply with safety, accessibility, and legality requirements.
Keeping records accurately, to ensure the integrity of administration systems at the stores
Requirements
NQF level 4 or Grade 12 (National Senior Certificate)
Relevant experience in material management would be advantageous
Operating of Materials Handling equipment and willing to be trained to operate forklift or wood handler
Computer Literacy (MS Office and associated software)
Ability to work with numbers/figures and calculator
Ability to speak and write English
Able to perform standby duties
Valid certificate of physical fitness
