Job Description
The Warehouse Lead will be responsible for the day-to-day management of warehouse operations, ensuring the safe receipt, storage, and dispatch of goods.
You will lead a team of warehouse staff, maintain inventory accuracy, and ensure all operations comply with company standards and safety regulations.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee daily warehouse operations including receiving, storage, picking, packing, and dispatch
Lead, supervise, and motivate warehouse team members to achieve operational targets
Maintain accurate stock records and conduct regular inventory counts
Ensure warehouse is organised, clean, and compliant with health and safety standards
Coordinate with the logistics and sales teams to ensure timely order fulfilment
Monitor and report on warehouse KPIs and identify areas for process improvement
Manage stock movement documentation and ensure system records are up to date
Train and onboard new warehouse staff as required
Requirements
Minimum SSCE; relevant professional certification is an advantage
Minimum 3 years' experience in a warehouse supervisory or lead role
Must reside within the job proximity
FMCG industry background strongly preferred
Strong knowledge of inventory management and warehouse management systems (WMS)
Proven leadership and team management skills
Excellent attention to detail and organisational ability
Familiarity with the Ketu and Ojota areas is an advantage
