Supervises: WTP/ETP Operators & Utility Personnel
Salary: ÃÂâÃÂÃÂÃÂæ310,000 Monthly
Role Purpose
Responsible for the safe, efficient, and reliable operation of the Water Treatment Plant (WTP) and Effluent Treatment Plant (ETP), ensuring treated water availability, effective wastewater treatment, environmental compliance, and adherence to HSE standards.
Key Responsibilities
Operate and monitor WTP/ETP processes, equipment, pumps, filters, blowers, and chemical-dosing systems.
Ensure treated water and effluent meet required quality and regulatory standards.
Manage treatment chemicals, including safe storage, dosing, usage, and stock control.
Conduct equipment inspections and coordinate preventive/corrective maintenance.
Maintain accurate operational, quality, maintenance, and safety records.
Supervise, schedule, train, and evaluate WTP/ETP operators.
Ensure compliance with HSE and environmental regulations.
Promptly identify and escalate equipment failures, quality deviations, and environmental incidents.
Requirements
HND/Bachelor's Degree in Chemical Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Chemistry, Microbiology, Biochemistry, Mechanical/Electrical Engineering, Environmental Science, or a related field.
3 - 5 years' relevant WTP/ETP experience, preferably in manufacturing, FMCG, agro-processing, or food-processing.
Practical knowledge of water/wastewater treatment, chemical dosing, filtration, pumps, and treatment equipment.
Strong leadership, analytical, reporting, and problem-solving skills.
Good knowledge of HSE and environmental compliance.
