Job Summary


The Wealth Manager, HNI is responsible for acquiring, managing, and growing relationships with High-Net-Worth Individuals (HNWIs) by providing tailored wealth management and investment advisory solutions. The role focuses on preserving and growing clients' wealth through a deep understanding of their financial goals, risk appetite, and investment objectives while delivering an exceptional client experience.


Responsibilities

Business Development


Identify, acquire, and onboard High-Net-Worth Individual (HNWI) clients through referrals, networking, strategic partnerships, and business development initiatives.
Build and maintain a strong pipeline of prospective clients to achieve revenue and asset growth targets.
Develop and execute strategies to increase Assets Under Management (AUM), revenue, and profitability.
Cross-sell the organization's wealth management products and financial solutions.


Relationship Management


Develop trusted, long-term relationships with HNWI clients by understanding their financial needs, aspirations, and risk profiles.
Conduct regular portfolio reviews and provide proactive recommendations aligned with clients' investment objectives.
Deliver personalized financial planning and investment advisory services.
Ensure a high level of client satisfaction through timely communication and exceptional service delivery.


Investment Advisory


Recommend suitable investment opportunities across various asset classes, including fixed income, mutual funds, equities, structured products, alternative investments, and other approved investment solutions.
Monitor market trends, economic developments, and investment opportunities to provide informed advice.
Collaborate with investment and research teams to develop tailored investment strategies for clients.
Educate clients on investment risks, returns, and market dynamics.


Portfolio Management


Monitor clients' investment portfolios to ensure alignment with agreed objectives.
Identify opportunities for portfolio optimization and diversification.
Support clients in wealth preservation, succession planning, and long-term financial planning.


Compliance & Risk Management


Ensure all client onboarding activities comply with regulatory requirements, Know Your Customer (KYC), and Anti-Money Laundering (AML) guidelines.
Maintain complete and accurate client records and documentation.
Adhere to all internal policies, investment governance standards, and regulatory requirements.
Escalate compliance or operational risks promptly.


Stakeholder Management


Collaborate with Product, Investment, Operations, Compliance, and Customer Experience teams to deliver seamless client service.
Build strategic relationships with external partners and professional networks to generate new business opportunities.


Requirements


Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, Accounting, or a related discipline.
Master's degree or MBA is an added advantage.
Professional certifications such as CIS, CFA, CFP, CWM, CISI, or relevant wealth management certifications are an added advantage.
Minimum of 5 - 8 years' experience in Wealth Management, Private Banking, Investment Advisory, Asset Management, Relationship Management, or Financial Services.
Proven experience managing High-Net-Worth Individual (HNWI) portfolios.
Demonstrated track record of business development and meeting investment or sales targets.
Knowledge of wealth management principles and financial planning.
Result oriented.
Strategic thinking and leadership capabilities.
