Job Description


RPO Recruitment's client, a well-established engineering consulting firm in Durban is seeking a skilled Wet Services Draughtsperson with strong Revit experience to join their growing team. This is an excellent opportunity to work on a diverse range of building services projects, including commercial, healthcare and mission-critical facilities.


Key Responsibilities:


Prepare concept, tender and construction drawings for wet services projects using Revit MEP.
Produce accurate and coordinated technical drawings in accordance with project specifications and company standards.
Update and revise drawings throughout the project lifecycle.
Coordinate drawings with engineers and other building services disciplines to ensure clash-free designs.
Assist with maintaining drawing quality, accuracy and document control.


Requirements:


Relevant draughting qualification or certification.
Minimum 2 years' practical experience using Revit MEP (2013 or later versions).
Previous experience within the building services consulting engineering environment is essential.
Exposure to wet services drafting for commercial buildings, hospitals, data centres or similar developments.
Sound understanding of engineering drawing standards and detailing.
Basic wet services design knowledge would be advantageous.
Strong attention to detail and the ability to produce accurate, high-quality drawings.
Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
