Report To: Finance Manager / Managing Director
Responsibilities
The ideal candidate will (but is not limited to):
Prepare and maintain accurate financial records, including ledgers, journals, and balance sheets.
Manage accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely processing of invoices and payments.
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with regulatory standards.
Conduct financial analysis, budgeting, and forecasting to support management decision-making.
Ensure compliance with tax regulations and assist with tax filing and audits.
Monitor cash flow and provide recommendations for efficient financial management.
Implement and maintain internal control procedures to safeguard company assets.
Collaborate with other departments to provide financial guidance and support operational goals.
Generate reports and provide insights on financial performance to management.
Stay updated on accounting standards, regulations, and best practices.
Requirement
Minimum of 7 years' relevant accounting experience.
ICAN (Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria) certified.
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
