Duties and Responsibilities
Provide technical support during laboratory practicals and experiments.
Prepare, issue and maintain laboratory equipment, chemicals and materials.
Ensure compliance with health, safety and environmental standards in laboratories.
Maintain inventory and accurate records of laboratory equipment and consumables.
Implement routine maintenance and report faulty laboratory equipment.
Assist in the preparation of practical examinations, demonstrations and student projects.
Minimum Requirements
Diploma in Applied Sciences or a related field from a recognized institution.
Minimum KCSE Mean Grade: C- (minus).
At least three (3) years of relevant hands-on experience.
Registration with the Institute of Science Laboratory Technology Kenya (ISLT) or any other relevant professional body
Computer literate.
Knowledge ofthe Occupational Safety and Health Act (OSHA).
Demonstrated ability to maintain equipment and observe safety standards.
