Job Summary


We are seeking a results-driven and experienced Area Medical Sales Manager to lead our sales operations in kano and across the Northern region.
The ideal candidate must have a strong understanding of the Northern pharmaceutical market, established relationships with key stakeholders, and a proven track record of achieving sales targets within the region.


Responsibilities


Develop and implement strategic sales plans to acheive regional revenue targets
Manage, coach, and supervise a team of Medical Sales Representatives across assigned territories
Drive market penetration and business growth in Kano and surrounding Northern states.
Build and maintain strong relationships with healthcare professionals, hospitals, pharmacies, and distributors
Monitor competitor activities and provide market intelligence to guide business decisions
Ensure compliance with company policies, ethical standards, and regulatory requirements.
Prepare periodic sales reports, forecasts, and performance analysis
Coordinate product launches, promotions, and awareness campaigns in the region


Requirements


Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy, Life Science, or a related field (MBA is an added advantage)
Minimum of 5 - 7 years' experience in pharmaceutical sales, with at least 2 -3 years in a managerial role
Strong experience working in Northern Nigeria (Kano and surrounding states is mandatory)
Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate a high-performing sales team
Excellent knowledge of the pharmaceutical market and distribution channels in the North
Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
Ability to analyze sales data and make informed business decisions.
