Role Overview
As a Caregiver/Nanny, you will play a vital role in the daily care, safety, and development of children in our crèche. You will work closely with other team members to create a warm, engaging, and structured environment where children feel secure and supported.
This is a fully hands-on role, requiring active participation in all aspects of childcare. You will be part of the adult-to-child ratio and expected to supervise and engage children at all times.
Working Schedule
Shift-based role between 7:00 AM and 7:00 PM, Monday to Friday
Flexibility required to work early or late shifts as scheduled
Key Responsibilities
Childcare & Supervision
Provide attentive, loving, and responsible care to children aged 0 - 5 years
Supervise children at all times to ensure their safety and wellbeing
Support daily routines including feeding, diapering, toileting, and rest time
Comfort and care for children when they are distressed
Learning & Development Support
Assist in implementing age-appropriate learning and play activities (EYFS-based)
Engage children in play, storytelling, music, and creative activities
Observe and report on children's development and behaviour
Health, Hygiene & Safety
Maintain high standards of hygiene and cleanliness at all times
Follow all health and safety procedures strictly
Ensure toys, play areas, and equipment are clean and safe
Report any incidents, injuries, or concerns promptly
Team Collaboration
Work closely with other caregivers and the Crèche Managers
Follow daily routines and instructions consistently
Support colleagues to maintain required adult-to-child ratios
Parent Interaction
Communicate politely and professionally with parents during drop-off and pick-up
Provide basic feedback on the child's day when required.
IT proficient as apps will be used. Training will be provided to the right candidate.
Candidate Profile
Experience & Qualifications
Proven experience working with children aged 0 - 5 years is required
Previous experience in a crèche, nursery, or as a nanny is preferred.
Minimum of SSCE/OND (additional childcare qualifications are an advantage)
Basic knowledge of child development
Paediatric First Aid and CPR certification (an advantage)
