Job Summary


We are seeking a skilled and creative Chef to lead our hotel kitchen operations and deliver exceptional culinary experiences to our guests.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for planning menus, preparing meals, supervising kitchen staff, and maintaining the highest standards of food quality, hygiene, and presentation.


Key Responsibilities


Plan, prepare, and present meals that meet hotel quality standards and guest expectations.
Develop menus, including daily specials, considering seasonal availability, guest preferences, and cost control.
Supervise and coordinate activities of kitchen staff, ensuring smooth and efficient kitchen operations.
Ensure proper portion control, minimize food wastage, and maintain cost-effective kitchen operations.
Maintain a clean, safe, and organized kitchen in compliance with health and safety regulations.
Monitor inventory of ingredients and kitchen supplies, placing orders as needed to avoid shortages.
Train and mentor kitchen staff, promoting a culture of teamwork and excellence.
Stay updated on culinary trends and incorporate innovative ideas into menu offerings.
Work closely with the hotel management team to plan for special events, banquets, and catering services.
Adhere to hotel policies, procedures, and quality standards at all times.


Qualifications & Skills


Culinary Degree, professional Chef Certification, or equivalent experience.
Strong knowledge of international and local cuisines, food safety, and kitchen operations.
Creativity and passion for delivering exceptional culinary experiences.
Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
Good understanding of cost control, portioning, and inventory management.
Willingness to work flexible shifts, including weekends, evenings, and public holidays.
