Contract Design Architect (Project-Based) – Fresh Graduate / NYSC at UNOCASA Limited

Role Overview


A mid-level construction company in Lagos is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Contract Design Architect for project-based assignments.
This role is ideal for recent HND/BSc Architecture graduates or NYSC participants who are eager to gain hands-on experience in architectural design and site supervision.
The selected candidate will be involved in all stages of architectural projects — from concept design to site follow-ups — while learning to collaborate effectively with clients, contractors, and project teams.


Key Responsibilities


Assist in developing and refining architectural concepts and working drawings.
Prepare project documentation, including drawings, specifications, and revision logs.
Liaise with clients to understand project requirements and aesthetic preferences.
Support the tracking of project timelines, deliverables, and budgets.
Attend site visits (Yaba and Island) to observe construction progress and assist with site reports.
Participate in project meetings and provide updates on design progress.


Requirements


HND or BSc in Architecture (recent graduate or NYSC eligible).
Basic knowledge of Autodesk Revit (compulsory), AutoCAD, SketchUp, or similar design tools.
Familiarity with project management tools (e.g., Trello, Asana, Google Workspace) is an added advantage.
Strong communication, organizational, and teamwork skills.
Willingness to work in a hybrid structure and attend site visits as required.
An online portfolio showcasing academic or internship projects is required.
