Qualifications and experience required:
A relevant tertiary qualification.
Computer literacy (MS Office).
Five to eight years' relevant experience with supervisory experience.
Key attributes and competencies attached to this post:
Good oral, interpersonal and communication skills.
Sound knowledge of budgeting and financial management.
Strong supervisory background or skills.
Job purpose:
Coordinating key administrative requirements through the implementation of policies, procedures, systems and controls guiding critical interventions, applications and outcomes. Providing advice and support with respect to specific functional areas (budget, general administration, including the business unit's computerised applications, archives and committee administration). Controlling the operational dimensions and outcomes. Ensuring that the Directorate Unit's administrative priorities are adequately addressed. Attending to and ensuring key functional areas are aligned towards sustaining and improving the efficiencies of Administration processes.
As part of the selection process, candidates may be tested on any requirement, skill or competency, which will include pre-employment screening, medical examination, security vetting and psychometric assessment.
