Key Responsibilities


Drive the full project lifecycle of cash center automation solutions, managing all technical and commercial aspects from inception to onsite implementation.
Leverage internal portfolios and external technical concepts to design and implement bespoke automation solutions tailored to specific customer needs.
Clarify orders with component suppliers to define functional requirements, technical specifications, and commercial terms.
Oversee the engineering process, ensuring the creation of critical documentation, including risk analyses and EC conformity proofs.
Partner with specialists on plant layouts, CAD drawings, software process specifications, and IT system concepts.
Act as the central point of contact for international project teams. Manage complex interfaces and potential conflicts between internal teams, customers, and third-party partners (architects, IT specialists, and construction firms).
Maintain proactive communication and transparent reporting across all levels of the customer and internal organizations to ensure project milestones are met.


Requirements


University degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering. A minor or background in Business Management is highly preferred.
3+ years of direct experience managing Automated Material Handling Systems (AMHS) or large-scale machinery projects.
Proven track record in managing mid-to-large-scale plant or factory facility projects.
Experience leading cross-functional, international teams. Specific experience within the Middle East and Africa (MEA) region is essential.
Proficiency in Project Management tools and methodologies.
CAD skills (AutoCAD) and certifications like PMP or Prince2 are preferred.
High level of assertiveness, exceptional negotiation skills, and a structured, independent work style.
Near-native fluency in English (written and verbal). Proficiency in Arabic or French is a significant advantage.
Must be based in Nigeria but willing and able to travel extensively (up to 50% of the year) across the MEA region.
