DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Provide leadership in academic planning, development and implementation of university policies.
Promote excellence in teaching, learning, research, innovation and community engagement.
Coordinate quality assurance and compliance with regulatory requirements.
Oversee student affairs, welfare and support services.
Strengthen partnerships with industry, government, development partners and academic institutions.
Support resource mobilization and institutional growth initiatives.
Enhance digital transformation and innovation within the University.
Perform any other duties as assigned by the Vice-Chancellor and the University Council.
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
An earned PhD from a recognized university.
At least ten (10) years of progressive academic and administrative experience in higher education, with at least five (5) years at a senior management level.
A distinguished record in teaching, research, publications and postgraduate supervision.
Demonstrated leadership in academic administration, strategic planning and institutional development.
Evidence of successful resource mobilization, partnership development and stakeholder engagement.
Strong knowledge of higher education policies, governance and quality assurance frameworks.
Excellent communication, interpersonal and leadership skills.
