Job Summary


The Electrical Engineer will be responsible for the design, documentation, coordination, and execution of electrical systems across projects.
The role requires a blend of technical design expertise and hands-on site supervision, ensuring projects are delivered efficiently, in compliance with standards, and within agreed timelines.


Key Responsibilities


Design and develop electrical system layouts, schematics, and detailed drawings using AutoCAD or equivalent software
Prepare accurate Bills of Quantities (BOQ) and technical documentation for electrical works
Oversee on-site installation of electrical systems, ensuring compliance with approved drawings and specifications
Manage power distribution systems, lighting, earthing, and building electrical services
Coordinate with mechanical, civil, and other engineering teams to ensure seamless project execution
Supervise technicians and junior engineers to ensure quality and timely delivery
Monitor project progress and ensure adherence to timelines and budgets
Ensure compliance with electrical standards, safety regulations, and best practices
Support testing, commissioning, and project handover activities


Requirements


Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
Minimum of 5 years' proven experience in electrical engineering projects
Strong proficiency in AutoCAD or equivalent design tools
Solid experience in BOQ preparation and technical documentation
Hands-on experience in electrical installations and site supervision
Strong knowledge of power systems, lighting, earthing, and electrical infrastructure
Ability to manage both office-based design and on-site execution
