Qualifications, Experience, and Skills:
Diploma or Degree in Electrical or Electro-Mechanical Engineering.
Must have prior experience working in a wheat milling plant.
Strong technical knowledge of automation, pneumatic systems, and PLC/SCADA troubleshooting.
Minimum 5 years of electrical maintenance experience in milling or allied manufacturing industries.
Skilled in interpreting electrical diagrams, wiring schematics, and machine manuals.
Analytical, systematic, and safety-conscious with strong leadership and mentorship capabilities.
Willing to step in when necessary to ensure correct execution of maintenance tasks.
Role & Responsibilities:
Plan and execute preventive and predictive maintenance for motors, drives, control panels, sensors, weighing systems, pneumatic automation systems, and PLC-based controls.
Supervise electrical technicians and ensure all work is performed safely and according to OEM specifications.
Provide hands-on technical guidance - not doing all repairs personally,
but able to step in for critical tasks to ensure accuracy and reliability.
Collaborate with the mechanical maintenance team to synchronize maintenance of roller mills and utility systems.
Diagnose faults in electrical circuits, VFDs, MCCs, and instrumentation, implementing timely corrective actions to minimize downtime.
Maintain accurate maintenance records, electrical schematic documentation, and compliance logs.
Enforce plant safety standards, including lockout/tagout and electrical safety procedures.
