ENVIRONMENT:
A fast-growing international digital performance agency is looking for a highly capable Google Ads Specialist to join its senior performance team, working across global brands, large media budgets, and high-impact digital campaigns. This is a mid to senior-level, client-facing role focused heavily on Google Search, Performance Max, Shopping, and Microsoft/Bing Search campaigns.
The ideal candidate will bring strong commercial acumen, strategic search expertise, and the confidence to engage directly with senior stakeholders, not simply campaign administration.

DUTIES:
Build, manage, and optimise high-performing Google Search, Performance Max, Shopping, and Microsoft/Bing Search campaigns
Manage large international client budgets across multiple industries and markets
Drive campaign strategy, keyword planning, audience targeting, bidding strategies, and conversion optimisation
Monitor campaign performance, analyse data, and identify growth opportunities
Conduct A/B testing across ad copy, landing pages, bidding strategies, and audience segmentation
Deliver strategic insights, reporting, and recommendations to internal teams and clients
Work closely with senior performance teams, paid media specialists, creatives, and account managers
Attend client meetings, present campaign performance, and build trusted client relationships
Stay ahead of platform updates, automation features, and evolving search best practices
Support junior team members where needed and contribute to overall team excellence
REQUIREMENTS
Minimum 5+ years' commercial experience managing Google Ads Search campaigns
Strong experience across Google Search, Performance Max, Shopping, and Microsoft/Bing Ads
Proven experience managing large campaign budgets across multiple client accounts
Strong analytical capability with experience interpreting campaign data and performance trends
Experience working directly with clients, presenting strategy, and managing stakeholder expectations
Comfortable operating in a senior, consultative, client-facing environment
Strong understanding of conversion tracking, attribution, GA4, Tag Manager, and reporting frameworks
Agency experience highly advantageous
Relevant Google Ads certifications highly beneficial
Advantageous
Experience with Looker Studio, Supermetrics, BigQuery, or advanced reporting tools
Exposure to international markets and multi-currency campaign management
Experience mentoring junior performance marketers
Exposure to paid social or broader digital performance channels
