Instrumentation Engineer (Port Harcourt) at Proten

We are looking for hands-on Instrument Engineers with 5 - 10 years' experience in instrumentation and control systems, preferably within petrochemical, fertilizer, or oil & gas industries.

Key Skill Areas:


Maintenance and troubleshooting of field instruments (pressure, flow, level, temperature)
Control valves, actuators, and analyzers
Experience with DCS/PLC systems (e.g., Yokogawa, Honeywell, Emerson, Siemens)
Calibration, loop checking, and control system optimization
Familiarity with industrial communication protocols (HART, Modbus, Profibus)


Qualification:


Bachelor's Degree in Instrumentation / Electrical / Electronic Engineering/Control Engineering or equivalent


Additional Scope:


The roles will cover instrumentation systems across all plant facilities, including process units (Ammonia, Urea, Polymer), Power plant, utilities, and offsite areas.
