Job Description
We are seeking a proactive and technically skilled IT Support Officer to join our team in Apapa.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing end-user technical support, maintaining IT systems, troubleshooting hardware and software issues, and ensuring the smooth operation of the organization's IT infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities
Provide first-line technical support to end users for hardware, software, and network-related issues.
Install, configure, and maintain desktops, laptops, printers, and other IT equipment.
Troubleshoot and resolve system, network, and application issues promptly.
Support user account administration, email configuration, and access management.
Perform routine system maintenance, updates, and backups.
Monitor IT infrastructure to ensure optimal system performance and security.
Maintain accurate records of IT assets, support requests, and resolutions.
Liaise with vendors and service providers when necessary.
Ensure compliance with the organization's IT policies and procedures.
Requirements
Bachelor's Degree or HND in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or a related discipline.
Minimum of 4 years' proven experience in an IT support role.
Strong knowledge of Windows operating systems, Microsoft Office 365, networking fundamentals, and hardware troubleshooting.
Familiarity with Active Directory, LAN/WAN, VPN, and basic cybersecurity practices.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
