On behalf of our client, a fast-growing agribusiness and poultry brand, we are seeking to recruit an IT Systems Administrator who will be responsible for ensuring the smooth running, maintenance, and security of all IT systems within the organization. The role will support day-to-day operations across offices, production facilities, and field operations by ensuring reliable and efficient technology infrastructure.
Responsibilities
Install, configure, and maintain IT systems, servers, and network infrastructure
Monitor system performance to ensure optimal uptime and reliability
Provide technical support to staff and resolve IT-related issues in a timely manner
Manage user accounts, system access, and permissions across platforms
Maintain and support LAN/WAN networks across all operational sites
Troubleshoot hardware, software, and connectivity issues
Implement and maintain IT security measures to safeguard organizational data
Carry out regular system updates, patches, and upgrades
Perform data backups and support disaster recovery processes
Support ERP systems and other digital tools used in operations
Design, develop, and maintain company websites and digital platforms
Manage website content updates, structure, and performance optimization
Ensure websites are secure, responsive, and regularly updated
Coordinate hosting, domain management, and web-related service providers
Integrate web platforms with internal systems where required
Maintain proper IT documentation, asset registers, and system logs
Liaise with vendors and service providers for repairs and technical support
Train staff on the use of IT systems and digital tools where necessary
Skills & Requirements
Diploma or Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field
Minimum of 3 years' experience in IT systems administration or similar role
Strong knowledge of networking, servers, and IT infrastructure
Experience in Windows and/or Linux system environments
Proven experience in web development and website management
Skills in web design (UI/UX) and content management systems (e.g., WordPress or similar)
Familiarity with ERP systems will be an added advantage
Strong troubleshooting skills across hardware, software, and web platforms
Good understanding of cybersecurity principles and data protection
