Our client, a reputable and growing law firm, is seeking to recruit a highly motivated and detail-oriented Junior Associate to join its team. The successful candidate will support the delivery of high-quality legal services across the Firm's practice areas while contributing to client satisfaction, matter management, and the continued growth of the practice.

Key Responsibilities


Draft and review litigation documents, including pleadings, applications, and correspondence, ensuring accuracy and legal precision.
Attend court and represent clients professionally and competently.
Draft and review legal documents, including HR policies and manuals, employment-related instruments, and commercial contracts.
Deliver legal services in a timely, accurate, and professional manner.
Conduct legal research and provide clear, concise, and practical legal opinions.
Write legal articles and other thought leadership materials.
Develop training materials and facilitate client and internal training sessions where required.
Prepare internal reports and other legal documentation within stipulated timelines.
Support billing and debt collection processes to ensure timely invoicing and recovery.
Uphold the Firm's values, culture, and professional standards in all assignments.
Undertake any other duties assigned from time to time in accordance with the Firm's policies and guidelines.


Qualifications and Experience


Bachelor of Laws (LL.B) degree from a recognized university.
Advocate of the High Court of Kenya with a valid practicing certificate.
A minimum of three (3) years' post-admission experience is mandatory.
Demonstrable litigation practice experience is mandatory.
Proven experience in drafting legal documents, conducting legal research, and advising clients.
Strong analytical, research, and legal writing skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to interact effectively with clients and colleagues.
Working knowledge of employment law and commercial law, with a keen interest in developing expertise in these areas.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality work.
Ability to manage multiple assignments and work effectively under pressure.
