Job Summary


The Kitchen Assistant supports the kitchen team in daily food preparation and kitchen operations.
The role involves maintaining cleanliness, assisting chefs, and ensuring hygiene standards are met.
Training will be provided, so prior experience is not compulsory.


Key Responsibilities


Assist chefs with basic food preparation (washing, peeling, cutting ingredients).
Keep the kitchen clean, including washing utensils, dishes, and kitchen equipment.
Ensure proper hygiene and food safety standards are followed.
Help with arranging and storing food items and supplies.
Assist in setting up the kitchen before service and cleaning up after service.
Dispose of waste properly and keep work areas tidy.
Follow instructions from chefs and kitchen supervisors.
Support smooth kitchen operations at all times.


Requirements / Qualifications


Minimum of SSCE (preferred but not compulsory) with 0-1 year experience.
Experience is not compulsory - training will be provided.
Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team.
Willingness to learn and take corrections.
Physically fit and able to stand for long hours.
Good personal hygiene and cleanliness.
Honest, punctual, and hardworking.
