A Master's degree relevant to Human Movement/Physical Education and Life Skills Education
A relevant teaching qualification (preferably at primary school level)
Human Movement (Physical Education) and Life Skills or an equivalent subject as a major subject at the undergraduate level
Two (2) years relevant lecturing experience at tertiary level or five (5) years' relevant teaching experience at the Intermediate Phase level
Fluent in Afrikaans
RECOMMMENDATIONS:
A relevant doctoral degree
Evidence of research outputs and supervision
A coaching certificate in swimming and netball
Key Performance Areas / Principal Accountabilities
Teaching Human Movement/Physical Education and Life Skills and the relevant methodologies in the Foundation and Intermediate Phases, which includes teaching swimming, netball, gymnastics, and dance.
