Minimum Requirements: Senior Lecturer


PhD qualification within the Public Administration/Public Management/Development Management field.
An underpinning Masters in Public Administration/Public Management/Development Management field.
4 years full-time lecturing experience in a Higher Education Environment
Proven ability in lecturing Research Methodology at postgraduate level.
Evidence of successful postgraduate supervision.
Evidence of research output in DHET accredited journals.
Knowledge and experience of the hybrid models of learning, teaching and assessment (face-to-face and online).

An underpinning qualification in Public Administration/Public Management/Development Management field.
2 years full-time lecturing experience in a Higher Education Environment
Proven ability in lecturing Research Methodology at postgraduate level.
Knowledge and experience of the hybrid models of learning, teaching and assessment (face-to-face and online).


Key Performance Areas / Principal Accountabilities


Lecturing to full-time undergraduate and postgraduate students as well as research supervision of master's and doctoral students.
Contributing toward academic initiatives undertaken by the department.
Assessment and academic administration.
Curriculum development and quality assurance.
Building links with the industry, other training providers and all relevant stakeholders.
Conducting research and supervising research projects in the Advanced Diploma and Postgraduate Diploma programmes.
