In line with our current corporate objectives, we are seeking a qualified, detail-oriented, and proactive Female Legal Officer to manage our legal operations and safeguard our business interests at our Ogun State office.
Key Responsibilities
Contract Management: Draft, review, and negotiate commercial agreements, vendor contracts, and Non-Disclosure Agreements (NDAs).
Corporate Compliance: Ensure strict compliance with all local corporate laws, industry regulations, and statutory requirements.
Advisory Support: Provide sound legal advice on day-to-day business operations, corporate transactions, and governance matters.
Dispute Resolution: Manage legal disputes efficiently and coordinate with external legal counsel when litigation or specialized representation is required.
Secretarial & Secretariat Duties: Maintain accurate corporate records, support the planning of board meetings, and handle regulatory filings.
Risk Mitigation: Proactively identify potential legal risks across business units and implement effective mitigation measures.
Requirements & Qualifications
Education: Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.) and subsequent Call to the Nigerian Bar (B.L.).
Experience: Minimum of 3 - 5 years of post-call experience in corporate law, commercial litigation, or an in-house legal department.
Skills: Strong drafting, analytical, negotiation, and risk-assessment skills.
Location: Must be residing in or willing to work in Ogun State.
