Occupational Safety Health and Environment (OSHE) Officer at Divine Caterers Ltd

We are seeking a passionate and experienced OSE Officer to promote and ensure a safe and healthy working environment by implementing, monitoring, and maintaining health and safety standards, policies, and procedures in compliance with relevant legislation and company requirements.


Key Roles & Responsibilities


Develop, implement, and monitor workplace safety policies and programs.
Conduct risk assessments, safety inspections, and audits to identify and mitigate hazards.
Train staff on occupational safety, health practices, and emergency procedures.
Ensure full compliance with applicable OSH laws and regulations.
Investigate incidents, accidents, and near-misses, and prepare reports with corrective actions.
Oversee equipment safety maintenance, housekeeping standards, and safe environmental management.
Record keeping: Maintain accurate records of inspections and activities.
Promote a safety culture among staff


Qualifications

The ideal candidate should meet the following requirements:


Diploma or Degree in Hospitality, Food & Beverage Management, or related field.
Minimum 3-5 years' experience in hospitality management, with exposure to events management.
Strong leadership skills, capable of managing multiple teams across different locations.
Excellent knowledge of food safety, hygiene, and service standards.
Good organizational, planning, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple events simultaneously.
