Responsibilities
Capture, verify, and maintain accurate customer information in the company's database.
Process customer loan applications from documentation review to disbursement and repayment monitoring.
Book and manage customer investment requests while ensuring all documentation is complete and accurate.
Record and monitor placement transactions, including maturity dates and rollover activities.
Post daily financial transactions, including loan disbursements, repayments, investments, rentals, and applicable charges.
Perform daily transaction reviews, reconciliations, and call-over to ensure accuracy and completeness.
Carry out daily and monthly rental postings in accordance with approved financial schedules.
Generate and manage REMITA mandates for customer loan repayments.
Maintain complete physical and electronic customer records to support compliance, audits, and regulatory requirements.
Identify operational discrepancies and escalate issues promptly for resolution.
Support internal control processes and perform other operational duties as assigned.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Business Administration, Banking & Finance, or a related discipline.
Minimum of 2 years experience in operations, finance, banking, or investment company IS A MUST
Strong analytical and numerical skills.
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications.
Strong organizational and documentation skills.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
High level of integrity, confidentiality, and professionalism.
Knowledge of loan management systems and financial transaction processing.
Familiarity with REMITA mandate processing is an added advantage.
Understanding of regulatory and compliance requirements within the financial services industry.
