Responsibilities
Ensure raw materials are available and issued correctly before production.
Monitor production output and report variances.
Support supervisors in meeting daily production targets.
Ensure adherence to food safety standards (HACCP principles, GMP).
Monitor hygiene practices of production staff.
Ensure proper cleaning and sanitation of equipment and production areas.
Report any contamination risks immediately.
Track raw material usage and minimize wastage.
Assist with stock counts and reconciliation.
Assist in monitoring product quality during production.
Ensure proper labelling and packaging standards are followed.
Document quality checks and production logs accurately.
Monitor temperature levels of chillers, freezers, and storage rooms.
Report temperature deviations immediately.
Ensure finished goods are stored properly to maintain freshness.
Undertake other duties as assigned.
