Job Summary


We are seeking a dynamic, results-oriented partnership officer to provide dedicated operational and execution support in building, advancing, and managing high-potential partnerships. This role focuses on pipeline development, documentation, coordination, and timely handover to ensure rapid activation and revenue generation.
The successful candidate will lead marketing initiatives while building and managing strategic partnerships with Institutional & Cooperative Partners and Financial & Fintech Partners. This role combines aggressive sales & marketing execution with partnership development to expand platform adoption, increase transaction volumes, and enhance the brand's market visibility.


Key Responsibilities


Identify, qualify, and research potential partners in the Institutional & Financial categories.
Support the preparation of partnership proposals, presentations, draft MOUs, and commercial agreements.
Schedule, coordinate, and follow up on meetings, site visits, and stakeholder engagements.
Negotiate and manage partnership agreements and SLAs.
Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective partners.
Maintain an accurate, up-to-date partnership pipeline, CRM/partner register, and documentation.
Conduct partner due diligence and prepare opportunity assessment profiles.
Assist in monitoring partnership performance and contribute to quarterly review reports.
Prepare weekly and monthly reports on partnership pipeline, conversions, revenue contribution, and marketing impact.
Ensure timely and complete handover of qualified/signed partnerships to the Commercial and Delivery Lead.
Track and manage activity budgets for assigned categories to ensure cost efficiency.
Provide administrative and logistical support to the Head of Partnerships and Growth.


Qualifications and Experience


Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Business Information Technology (BBIT), Marketing, Sales, Economics, Finance, Agribusiness, or related field.
2 - 4 years of relevant experience in business development, partnerships, relationship management, sales, fintech or platform businesses (experience with cooperatives, SACCOs, or financial institutions is a strong advantage).
Strong organizational, communication, negotiation, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
Certificate/Diploma in ICT or ICT related course
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and basic CRM tools.
Ability to work independently with minimum supervision while maintaining high attention to detail and budget discipline.
Strong understanding of the Kenyan agricultural ecosystem.
