Job Summary:

The Pharmacy Assistant supports the day-to-day operations of the pharmacy by assisting customers, processing sales, organizing inventory, maintaining records, and ensuring the pharmacy environment remains clean and professional.

Key Responsibilities:


Attend to customers and assist with product inquiries.
Process sales transactions accurately.
Receive, arrange, and stock pharmaceutical products and other inventory.
Monitor stock levels and report low-stock items.
Assist in inventory counts and stock reconciliation.
Ensure shelves and displays are neat, organized, and properly labeled.
Maintain accurate records of sales and inventory movements.
Support the pharmacist in administrative and operational tasks.
Ensure compliance with company policies and pharmacy regulations.
Maintain a clean and hygienic work environment.
Writing articles and participating in health outreach.


Requirements:


Minimum of OND, HND, or Bachelor's Degree.
Previous experience in a pharmacy or retail environment is an advantage.
Knowledge of drugs and prescriptions.
Good communication and customer service skills.
Basic computer proficiency.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
