Key Responsibilities

Production Planning & Control


Develop and implement production schedules based on confirmed client orders and delivery timelines.
Oversee all stages of garment production including cutting, sewing, finishing, quality control, and packaging.
Monitor daily production output and resolve operational bottlenecks promptly.
Ensure optimal utilization of manpower, machinery, and materials to maximize efficiency.


Quality Management


Establish and enforce quality standards across all stages of the production process.
Conduct regular inspections to ensure garments meet approved specifications and company standards.
Reduce rejection rates and rework through effective supervision and process management.
Implement corrective actions where quality deviations occur.


Team Leadership


Supervise production supervisors, tailors, cutters, machine operators, and support staff.
Monitor staff productivity and maintain discipline on the production floor.
Provide guidance, coaching, and training to improve efficiency and workmanship.
Ensure compliance with workplace health and safety standards.


Inventory & Resource Management


Monitor usage of fabrics, trims, and accessories to minimize waste.
Coordinate with procurement teams to ensure timely availability of raw materials.
Maintain accurate records of production materials and finished goods inventory.


Cost & Performance Monitoring


Monitor production costs to ensure operations remain within budget.
Track key performance indicators such as output levels, turnaround time, and defect rates.
Prepare regular production reports for management review.
Identify opportunities for continuous process improvement and operational efficiency.


Requirements

Qualifications & Experience


Bachelor's degree in Fashion, Textile Technology, Production Management, or a related field (preferred).
Minimum of 3 - 5 years' experience in garment, clothing, or uniform manufacturing.
At least 2 years in a supervisory or production management role.
Strong knowledge of garment construction, pattern processes, and industrial sewing operations.
Proven ability to manage production teams and meet delivery timelines.
