Role Summary
The R&D Officer will support product development and improvement by applying flavour and fragrance formulations, conducting laboratory testing, and ensuring compliance with quality and food safety standards.
The role also involves product evaluation, troubleshooting, and collaboration with QC and commercial teams to deliver high-quality products.
Requirements
Education & Experience:
Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Chemistry, or a related field.
Minimum 2 years' experience in a similar role.
Industry Experience (Preferred);
Flavour & Fragrance (Perfume Industry)
Beverage Industry
FMCG Manufacturing
Skills & Competencies:
Knowledge of Quality Management Systems and Food Safety standards (HACCP, FSSC 22000).
Experience with analytical and laboratory testing tools.
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
High attention to detail and commitment to quality.
Good interpersonal and communication skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools.
Innovative mindset with focus on continuous improvement.
Salary
N180,000 per month
