About the Role
Prixair Group is seeking a skilled and creative Professional Baker to join our food and hospitality team.
The successful candidate will be responsible for producing high-quality breads, pastries, and baked goods while maintaining consistency, hygiene, and excellent product presentation.
The role requires a passionate baker with strong technical knowledge and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced bakery environment.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare and bake a variety of breads, pastries, cakes, and other baked goods.
Ensure consistent taste, quality, and presentation of all bakery products.
Measure and mix ingredients according to recipes and production schedules.
Monitor baking processes to ensure products are baked to required standards.
Maintain high standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and food safety in the bakery.
Manage ingredient preparation and ensure proper storage of baking materials.
Assist in developing new recipes and product varieties.
Work with the operations team to ensure timely production and availability of baked goods.
Maintain bakery equipment and report any faults promptly.
Requirements
Minimum of 10 years experience as a professional baker.
Strong knowledge of bread making, pastry preparation, and cake baking techniques.
Ability to follow recipes and maintain product consistency.
Knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards.
Ability to work early shifts and manage baking production schedules.
Creativity and attention to detail in product presentation.
