Registered Nurse I - AN- Scale -KMTC 7

For appointment to this grade, an officer must have;

• Cumulative service period of six (6) years relevant work experience, three (3) of which must have been at the grade of a Registered Nurse II or in a comparable position.
• Diploma in any of the following disciplines: Kenya Registered Nursing (KRN) or Kenya Registered Community Health Nursing (KRCHN) or any other equivalent qualifications from a recognised institution; Kenya registered midwifery, Kenya Registered Nursing / Mental Health and Psychiatric or any other qualifications from a recognised institution.
• Been registered by the Nursing Council of Kenya;
• Valid Practicing licence from the Nursing Council in good standing;
• Proficiency in computer applications; and
• Shown merit and ability as reflected in work performance and results.
