Summary
We are seeking an experienced and highly organized School Administrator with a strong Human Resources background to oversee the daily administrative operations of the school while managing key HR functions.
The ideal candidate must possess excellent leadership, organizational, and people management skills, with a minimum of five (5) years' experience in school administration.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee the day-to-day administrative operations of the school.
Develop and implement administrative policies and procedures.
Manage staff recruitment, onboarding, performance management, and employee relations.
Maintain employee records and ensure compliance with labour laws and school policies.
Coordinate staff training and professional development initiatives.
Supervise administrative and support staff to ensure operational efficiency.
Prepare reports, budgets, and administrative documentation for management.
Coordinate admissions, student records, and school documentation.
Ensure compliance with regulatory and accreditation requirements.
Foster effective communication between management, staff, parents, and external stakeholders.
Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Education, Human Resource Management, Business Administration, Public Administration, or a related field.
Minimum of 5 years' experience in school administration, including responsibility for HR and administrative operations.
Professional HR certification such as CIPM etc
A Postgraduate Degree or Professional Certification in Educational Administration or School Leadership is an added advantage.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and School Management Software.
Strong knowledge of Nigerian Labour Laws, employee relations, and school regulatory compliance.
