Key Responsibilities
Financial Reporting & Governance
Oversee accurate and timely monthly management reporting
Ensure preparation and review of quarterly and annual reporting in line with IFRS
Support the preparation and finalisation of Annual Financial Statements
Oversee corporate income tax, provisional tax calculations, and related statutory submissions
Act as key finance contact during internal and external audits
Ensure balance sheet integrity, appropriate provisions, and strong financial controls
Budgeting, Forecasting & Performance Management
Lead the annual budgeting and periodic forecasting processes
Drive financial planning across business units
Oversee variance analysis and recommend corrective action
Conduct scenario and sensitivity modelling to support strategic decision-making
Monitor cash flow to ensure financial stability
Commercial & Strategic Insight
Analyse revenue, margins, expenses, and profitability trends
Provide executive-level dashboards and financial presentations
Identify financial risks and opportunities
Drive cost optimisation and process improvement initiatives
Lead special projects and ad hoc financial analysis to support business growth
Leadership & Team Development
Lead, mentor, and develop a team of finance professionals
Drive performance management and succession planning
Foster a high-performance and collaborative team culture
Act as escalation point for finance-related matters
Champion continuous improvement and transformation within the finance function
Cross-Functional Collaboration
Partner with operational leaders to understand key business drivers
Provide financial insight to support strategic initiatives
Build strong relationships across departments to ensure alignment and accountability
Minimum Requirements
CA(SA) qualification (essential)
Minimum 8 years' experience in a commercial finance or business partnering role
At least 5 years' experience leading and managing a team
Strong financial reporting and tax exposure
Recent experience in preparing and reviewing Annual Financial Statements
Advanced MS Excel (including modelling and scenario planning)
Experience operating in a high-volume transaction environment
