Senior Lecturer - AN- Scale -KMTC 6 - 25 Posts

Requirements for Appointment

• Cumulative service period of six (6) years' work experience three (3) years should have been in the grade of Lecturer I or in a comparable position;
• achelor's Degree in any of the following fields: - Clinical Medicine, Nursing, Public Health, Physiology, Medical Biochemistry, Parasitology, Microbiology, Chemistry, Health Promotions, Medical Imaging Sciences, Medical Laboratory
• Sciences, Optometry, Health Records Information Technology, Physiotherapy, Medical Engineering, Occupational Therapy, Nutrition, or any other relevant field from a recognised institution;

OR

• KMTC Higher National Diploma in Clinical Medicine and Surgery Nephrology,
• Paediatrics, Ophthalmology, Advanced Refraction and Low Vision, Palliative Care Nursing, Kenya Registered Nurse Anesthesia, Medical Engineering (Dialysis), Renal Pharmacy, Renal Nutrition, Pelvic Health and Physiotherapy, Clinical Medicine Orthopaedic and Trauma Technology (Paediatrics), Clinical
• Medicine and Surgery (Ophthalmology and Cataract Surgery), Clinical Pharmacy, Medical Social Work, Medical Laboratory Sciences (Nephrology), Oncology Nursing
• Developed at least three (3) teaching manuals;
• Certificate in teaching methodology course lasting not less than two (2) weeks from a recognised institution;
• Valid practicing licence from the relevant regulatory body where applicable;
• Been registered by the relevant professional body where applicable;
• Proficiency in computer applications; and
• Demonstrated merit and ability as reflected in work performance and results;
