Job Summary


The role holder shapes the Bank's technology vision, strategy, and enterprise architecture to ensure operational efficiency, security, and long-term alignment with business and national objectives. The Senior Manager leads the design of enterprise-wide IT architecture across business, application, data, technology, and security domains, guiding digital transformation initiatives and overseeing the evolution of IT assets.


Key Responsibilities


Enterprise Architecture Practice: Establish, implement, and maintain a robust Enterprise Architecture (EA) practice and institutionalize standards, frameworks, policies, and guidelines across business, application, information, and technology domains.
Strategic Leadership & Domain Integration: Provide strategic direction for business, application, information, technology, and security architecture (incorporating Enterprise Security Architecture and proactive risk/audit mitigation).
Solution Design & Oversight: Direct end-to-end technology solutions acquisition and high-level solution designs for major projects, ensuring seamless integration with government agencies, financial institutions, and stakeholders.
Audits, Risk & Compliance: Lead IT audits, enforce technological best practices, reduce operational, cybersecurity, and business continuity risks through prudent controls, and track KPIs via ISO 20000 frameworks.
Talent & Performance Management: Manage, recruit, mentor, and coach a team of IT professionals (enterprise architects, solution architects, and consultants), ensuring an optimal organizational structure and high service management standards.


Qualifications


Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, Information Technology, or a related discipline (Master's or post-graduate qualification is an added advantage).
Mandatory professional certification: TOGAF Enterprise Architecture Practitioner, Zachman Certified Enterprise Architect, or an equivalent vendor-neutral architecture certification.
Additional advantages: Certifications in cloud architecture, security architecture, IT governance, or project management.


Experience & Technical Competencies


Minimum of 10 years of experience working with large organizations on a similar scope, including at least 3 years in a senior leadership position managing enterprise architects and solution architects.
Demonstrated banking (or equivalent) enterprise architecture experience, with deep technical competency in solution design and high-level design creation for major projects.
Extensive exposure across application and business architecture domains such as banking, telecommunications, or retail.
