Novus Print: Montague Gardens is seeking to appoint a SHEQ Administrator with working experience in a manufacturing environment to carry out all administration and document control including all SHEQ audits and reports, H&S training, external supplier contract management. The successful candidate will report to the Senior SHEQ Officer.
KEY AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY:
Manage and ensure control of ISO 9001 / ISO 14001 / ISO 45001 documents
Maintain the ISO system electronically to enhance the paperless concept.
Manage and track spending of the general budget with meticulous record-keeping and assist with the preparation of new budgets.
Sourcing and prepare training schedules for the year, liaise with different departments on when training will take place and arrange accordingly.
Maintaining all safety files and records as outlined in the Health and Safety Act
Drive the implementation of the documenting, signing, and recording of the relevant emergency procedure appointment in terms of the Occupational Health and Safety Act and ensure availability for auding purposes.
Ensure all building related documentation such as the Certificate of Occupation, Exemptions, Permit application etc is up to date and available for auditing purpose.
Record keeping of Letters of appointment and good standing and maintaining the legal registry.
Arrange Health and Safety Board meetings and prepare agenda and take minutes.
Distribution of Health and Safety Board minutes, follow up and ensuring implementation of decision and keeping of records and documents relating to meetings and decisions.
Implement evacuation and emergency communication plans.
Administration and the implementation of operational procedures for activities such as fire prevention and firefighting, traffic control, guarding and patrolling physical property, and investigation of accidents and criminal acts.
Keeping records and documents on safety inspections, findings, and code sections violated.
Ensuring proper records are kept of all injuries / accidents and findings documented and compliance with the COID Act.
Co-ordinating and ensuring all contractor agreements and clearance documents to operate on site are kept up to date and available.
Administration and record keeping, follow -up and documenting of Health and Safety induction training documentation for new employees including plant orientation.
Recording of waste disposed to landfill on iPWIS (Integrated pollutant and waste system)

Educational Requirements
Grade 12
H&S qualification such as SAMTRAC would be advantageous.
Experience Requirements
At least 5 years in a H&S Admin role where attention to detail is of critical importance.
Manufacturing background advantageous.
