Job Title: Supply Chain Analyst

PURPOSE OF JOB
Carry out expediting on all sundry materials to ensure timely deliveries to factories.
Carry out periodic visits to factories to observe, report and recommend actions regarding material deliveries, offloading, defects and other supply chain related matters.
Collect, clean and analyze supply chain data (inventory, lead times, demand, shipments, etc)
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Identify and develop reliable local suppliers for procurement of existing and new sundry materials.
Forward material volume allocation and communicate delivery timeline to sundry suppliers.
Create purchase orders and forward same to suppliers and schedule deliveries for sundry materials
Follow up with suppliers for timely delivery of materials to factory.
Track actual deliveries with scheduled deliveries to showing impact on inventory and report weekly.
Visit the factories periodically, obtain daily material deliveries & offloading report. Report trucks awaiting offloading and number of days waiting time.
Conduct market survey for materials as may be required or instructed.
Manage inventory levels and ensure timely availability of materials to meet production targets.
Follow up with Finance to ensure timely payment of suppliers and prompt reconciliation of suppliers' accounts.
Develop and maintain transparent long-term partnerships with suppliers.
Generate inventory and other essential reports on the ERP database for analysis.
Collaborate with Production, Material Store, Quality Assurance, Sales, Marketing and Finance for supply chain related issues.
Obtain indents for service jobs, CAPEX and initiate on ERP, from purchase requisition to purchase orders.

Report of purchase order raised (Daily)
Sundry material delivery schedules and actual deliveries tracking report (Weekly)
Material offloading reports and truck waiting time (Weekly)
PO closures with reports (Weekly)
JOB REQUIREMENTS
EDUCATION
Minimum requirement: Good University degree (BSc/HND) in Economics, Purchasing & Supply or any other related social sciences.
EXPERIENCE
Minimum requirement: 1 - 2 years practical experience with FMCG or high pace manufacturing environment.
PROFESSIONAL (MEMBERSHIPS & CERTIFICATIONS)
Membership of a professional body(ies) - CIPS, CISCM or any other relevant professional designations is an added Advantage
