Tutorial Fellows/Lecturers/Senior lecturers/Associate Professors - Clinical Pharmacy

Duties and responsibilities

• To teach Pharmacy Units allocated by the Head of Department.
• Designing, developing, planning and delivering a range of programmes of study, sometimes for entirely new courses at various levels.
• Delivering high-quality lectures and practical sessions.
• Assess student performance through examinations, objective structured clinical examinations (OSCEs), coursework, and practical evaluations.
• Supervise student research projects, dissertations, and clinical placements.
• Reviewing pharmacy course content and materials on a regular basis, updating when required.
• Collaborating with academic colleagues on course development, curriculum changes and the development of research activities.
• Carrying out research and writing research grant proposals.
• Seeking and participating in consultancies.
• Dissemination of research findings at national or international conferences, scientific symposiums and webinars.
• Providing mentorship and career guidance to students and staff.
• Any other duties as may be assigned from time to time by the supervisors or as captured in your detailed Job Description ;

qualification and experience

• Possesion of PhD will be an added advantage
• Minimum of a Masters degree in Clinical Pharmacy from an accredited/recognized university.
