Minimum Qualifications / Experience / Key Competencies
Minimum Grade 12.
Must have a valid driver's license (Code 10\14).
Valid PDP (Advantageous)
Be literate and functionally numerate.
Medically fit in terms of the Mine Health and Safety Act.
Possess basic knowledge of machinery.
Excellent Pre-employment medical required.management skills and team worker.
Ability to work under pressure.
Be self-disciplined and able to work without supervision.
Ability to work within the team.
Ability to stand for long periods.
Ability to see well and distinguish between back up alarms, voices, and other normal sounds consistent with construction job sites.
Duties and Responsibilities (not limited to):
Driving the Water Truck and carrying out all related tasks.
Reporting general mechanical elementary problems
Be safety conscious.
Able to work as part of a team.
Acknowledge that Management may allocate additional tasks when tasks cannot be completed on standard allocated job.
Keep machine clean, safe and in good working order by completing daily pre-start checklist correctly.
Be able to work under pressure and sometimes extended hours (including overtime and Saturdays).
Must be able to carry out instructions given by your superior.
