Artisan I - AN- Scale -KMTC10 - 2 Posts

For appointment to this grade, an officer must have

• Cumulative service period of six (6) years relevant work experience, three (3) of which should have been in the grade of Artisan II or in a comparable and equivalent position;
• Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE) mean grade D+ (Plus) or its equivalent qualification;
• National Trade Test I Certificate in any of the following areas of specialization: Carpentry and Joinery, Turning and Fitting, Plumbing, Welding and Fabricating or its equivalent qualification from a recognised institution;
• Proficiency in computer applications; and
• Shown merit and ability as reflected in work performance and result.
